What is the scope and salary of Indian Electronics and Instrumentation engineering degree holders in India ?

This answer is in Indian context:
  • There is NOTHING called as electronics and instrumentation engineering in the real world. The simple name of the engineering branch is electronics engineering. Electronics engineer is a person who can make use of his command over the low level computer programming languages to make the computers do what he wants them to do. If two chapters of electronics instruments are taught to Indian electronics engineering students then they shall not become electronics and instrumentation engineers.
  • All the kinds of Indian electronics engineering students in India should follow GATE/IES ECE syllabus to be able to compete in some competitive exam to become an electronics engineer in the govt sector. There is infinite demand of highly skilled electronics engineers with an impressive TopCOder and GitHub profiles, even without any school or college degrees.
  • Electronics engineer is a person who can make use of his command over the low level computer programming languages to make the computers do what he wants them to do.
  • There is infinite demand of highly skilled electronics engineers with an impressive TopCoder and GitHub profiles, in all the developed countries of the world, even without any school or college degrees.
  • Negligible electronics engineering happens in India.
  • None of the known electronics engineering companies(Intel, Qualcomm, Samsung, Snapdragon etc) have their engineering offices in India. Most of such known electronics engineering companies have their engineering offices in the USA, Israel, Poland, EU, UK, Belarus, Australia etc.

  • There are two ways to become an electronics engineer in India
    • competing in some competitive exam to become an electronics engineer in the govt sector (initial salary 6–10 LPA)
    • getting recruited in some private electronics engineering company on the basis of the topcoder-github profiles, even without going to any school or college. ( initial salary 8–15 LPA)

How to become mechanical engineer in India in 2020 ?

This post in Indian context:
There are only two ways to become a mechanical/automobile engineer in India in 2020:
  1. Competing in some competitive exam to become a mechanical engineer in the govt sector.
  2. Getting recruited in some private mechanical engineering company from some top-5 Indian engineering colleges.
-------------------------------------------------
There are NO mechanical engineering internships in India because Indian engineering curriculum is 40 years old and since India is not any industrialised country hence there is NO culture of internships in India.
-------------------------------------------------

Mechanical Engineering is dead in 2020 because:

  1. Indian mechanical engineering curriculum is 40 years old.
  2. No mechanical engineering research happens in India.
  3. There is NO creative brain development of the Indian mechanical engineers already working in the private Indian mechanical engineering companies because of NO innovative applications of the mechanical engineering concepts like in the developed countries. Eg. BYD in China, Tesla in USA etc
  4. Since our computers are getting smarter with each passing day hence most of the human interventions in the Indian mechanical engineering companies are getting automated.
But Indian youth need not worried because I have solved all the education and unemployment related problems for Indian youth through my Quora answers.

Which IIT provide a course on AI ?

All would provide such degrees in the coming years, but NONE would produce any employable AI professional, because IITs are a scam in India: A K Pandey's answer to What is it that we as Indians are collectively doing wrong?

  1. There is nothing called as Mtech(Or Btech) in AI, because AI is a research arena of computer engineering and research cannot be taught.
  2. All Indian engineering institutions will start offering Btech and Mtech in AI because
    1. they cannot understand what is written in point number 1, above. They are not conditioned in that way.
    2. all the Indian engineering teachers, employed here and there have to save their jobs.
  3. Research is pursued by scientists and engineers and no one can teach research. It happens NO where in the world. This is also the reason that:
    1. No institution of the world produces any skilled AI professional, and
    2. All the AI positions in all the AI companies of the world are filled by the engineers with 10+ years of hardcore computer engineering experience.
  4. There is infinite demand of the AI professionals in the industry, even without any school or college degrees: Praveen Kumar Singh's post in Computer engg. research

How to get a job/internship at Google from India ?

This is a serious answer, which is acceptable internationally for all the computer engineering companies of the world(Amazon/Facebook/Microsoft etc).
  • Internships are offered by such computer engineering companies to learn to choose highly skilled employees from many job applicants, on the basis of the TopCoder-GitHub-Kaggle performances.
  • The best way to apply for jobs/internships at such tech companies shall be to befriend the present employees of such tech companies at the platforms where they hang out(TopCoder-GitHub-Kaggle) and by trying to impress them. All the other ways to get a job/internships at such companies have become “uncertain and luck based”.
  • All the kind of printed papers like school-college degrees and certifications have become useless in the computer engineering industry.
This is 100% correct answer.
